A commitment to our horizon…

The North Fork Writers Group was founded in 2010 by Gene Rackovich, who felt the need for a writers’ group on the Forth Fork of the East End of Long Island. From the beginning there was camaraderie, mutual support and close friendships that encouraged creativity and helped members take their writing to the next level. In the years that followed, the core membership have published two anthologies of short stories ranging from fantasy to non-fiction. In addition, several members have published books. The group meets monthly to critique each other’s work or just chat.
